Sonder - "the realisation that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own"

This is my second to last University project. I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone by illustrating people, something I usually opt out of. I utilised different textile mediums such as crochet, laser cutting, print and stitch.
The project began with taking film photographs of different groups of people in Falmouth + Padstow [seen below]. I experimented with composition, layering illustrations, blocks of colour or texture.
The collection was made to be part of an exhibition at Studio 30 (hypothetical). Aiming to produce a
